Birthday
Although I decided to expand from only birthday parties I would still like to stick to my original idea of making foster children's birthday special. It is always a good day at school on your birthday, especially when you show up to balloons and a cupcake in your locker, which is what I plan to do.
Field Trip
Field trips are often the highlight of the school year, a time to hang out with friends and learn new information out of the classroom. However, for many kids going on a school field trip is not even an option.
School Supplies
When the new school year comes around many students don't have new materials to use in the classroom. I feel this is a necessity for all students and no one should be left out of a fare learning experience so ever year before the start of school i collect supplies for the children.
Year Book
As the School year comes to an end money for year books is being collected. Many students can't afford this and often get left out of one of the most fun end-of-the-year activities, signing year books.
Survival Swimming
Especially in Florida drowning rates amongst children is extremely high. I try to prevent this by helping as many children as I can learn how to swim.
